As no-one else has mentioned the results of the selections, the two teams announced as far as I can recall are:

A                                                            B

Sam Chin                                     John Whelan

Adam Marlow                              Sefton Cousins

Mike Bowen                                 Glenn Spiers

Dominic Mereko                         Roy Brewster

Dan Bowen                                 Panua Tangimetua

Brendon Ng                                 Richard Bell

                                                     Steve Cropper

I'm not sure who the floating reverse is but I reckon thats a squad that can do real damage at the Interprovincial Champs in October.  Personally I'd have kept John Whelan in the A team, but thats just my opinion and I agree that it was pointless to have a quality player sitting in reserve when they could be doing the business for the B team.  But hey, I'm not a selector and at the end of the day I want success for Otago and will fully support the boys and give it my all on the table for them, and I'm sure John will too.

I enjoyed the trials and hope that we can generate a similar atmosphere when we take on Canterbury and the rest of the provinces, cos if we all fire at the same time, then we will take some stopping.  What do you reckon?
